www.ebay.com/usr/coolstubbyWe have now started selling some of our blank stubby holder supplies through our eBay store, so you can make your own stubby holders! Start your own business from home, or make your own customised stubby holders for your business or event. These blank supplies are the exact ones that we use in our daily production, so you can be assured of the highest possible quality.
You will need a dye sublimation heat press and the ability to print sublimation transfers, including sublimation paper. A certain degree of knowledge about dye sublimation is assumed if you want to complete this tutorial.

The first thing you will need to do is create the artwork that you want to print. You can set-up your artwork to the correct dimensions using one our templates which will give you the exact size needed to fit our blank stubby holder panels.

Once the artwork has been created, apply the image to your blank panel. Don't forget to print your paper transfer in mirror image so that it is sublimated the right way around on the stubby holder.

To assemble the blank materials in to a finished stubby holder, you will need to buy some contact adhesive to glue the panel together in to a cylinder shape and attach the base. Sika Contact Adhesive from Bunnings will work fine.

Once you have sublimated the image on the blank panel, apply the adhesive to both edges of the panel and allow a couple of minutes for the adhesive to become tacky. Then, press the edges together to stick in to the cylinder shape. A paintbrush is a good way to apply the adhesive.

Next, place a length of the heat tape over the seal and apply heat for a few seconds to seal the tape. Something like a household iron on a high temperature setting works well for this. You will also need to fold over the ends of the tape to the inside of the stubby holder create an even finish.

We can provide heat seal tape pre-cut to lengths of around 12cm, just ask us via our eBay listing and we can reply with an offer. The seam of the stubby holder can also be sewn/overlocked if you prefer not to use heat seal tape.

Finally, apply the adhesive to edges of the base and also the bottom inside part of the stubby holder where the base will be glued in. Insert the base in to position and use your fingers to make sure the glue has sealed all the way around.

And there you have it, you have your own custom designed stubby holder so grab yourself some beers and enjoy...
